I hate car s***

So a few weeks ago I got into a minor car accident in a parking garage near work, I had the choice of hitting a GIANT black extended Escalade or swerving to avoid it, I swerved out of instinct and scrapped the side of my car along the bumper of another SUV that was parked in a compact car spot. The Escalade was driven by a bad person who hopefully karma will catch up to who wouldn't give any information and said I should "Drive Better". Bitch.
So I wanted to do the right thing, I left my information for the SUV I hit, they never called me but I also called my insurance company to report what happened, and I told the truth. I have GEICO and they have been ummmm...not that great. At first they were helpful but then yesterday I brought lil' jetta to a body shop for an estimate and found out that GEICO's helpfulness is actually a mask for trying to screw the customer. They estimated way below what the damage actually was and to get them to pay more, the body shop (I only want to go to a Body Shop if it sells lotions and good smelling stuff) is going to have to fight with them for weeks. With an s...weeks.
As the girl was telling me all this I looked at Mike and said: "I hate car S***!, this is why I have a husband so I don't have to deal with it!" I have no rental car coverage on my policy so I may be car-less for at least 2 weeks. Yip yip. What makes it worse is when the body shop called GEICO to ask about the rental car the rep wanted to talk to me, I was told that the accident was my fault because I "lost control of the vehicle". No, I had total control, I just didn't want to drive my car head on into the back of an SUV causing more damage and possibly injuring myself or other people. So I swerved to avoid a bad accident and got into a little one. I explained this to GEICO butthead on the phone and she insisted it was my fault, so according to them I should have driven straight into a car much larger then my own and injured myself or others and totalled the car, that would have been better. I no longer like GEICO and once I get my car fixed I am going on Mike's insurance...stupid lizard with the British accent.

I think we might have to adopt...

See look I start blogging yesterday and now I can't stop! OMG! So I often think about if I was born in the 1600s how I would probably look a lot different: 1 eyebrow (like Bert), weird messed up feet, pores so clogged (ick), and I would probably have not made it to this age (death by a bee sting or appendicitis). Also I would have nasty ass teeth, which brings me to yesterday. I brush my teeth with an electric tooth brush, I floss, I have special Listerine that has lots of tooth happy crap in it, I have limited refined sugars and only have 1 diet coke a day (I will not be DENIED that!) and am trying to eat a protein heavy diet. So I go to the dentist for a cleaning and have full mouth x-rays, yea...6 cavities, 6!!!!!! They are all in between my teeth, oh and I need a crown because one of my teeth is basically a giant filling with hardly any tooth left. WTF! My Mom has "soft Irish teeth" too so genetics are awesome. If Mike and I decided to multiply our future offspring may possibly have: big heads (like Pez container babies running into walls and falling down from the weight of their noggins), funky bones in their feet, soft teeth and not being able to see without glasses, oh and a habit of snacking and wanting dessert a lot (Mike!). Maybe we should look into adoption...

2 months since my last post...for shame!

I have had some complaints (ahem, barb) that I haven't posted anything in a while...so here we go again. This is what happened during my non-blogging time: foot surgery, end of 1 class and the start of another, Turkey Day and holiday prep. Sounds actually really boring, sorry, it was busy dudes! I had foot surgery at the end of October for a very sexy bunionette removal, it was only going to get worse so I had it taken care of now, will have to do the other foot at some point too which will make a total of 4 surgeries on my feet. Hot. 1 class ended for school, this class made my brain hurt, it was accounting and budgeting and I hate that stuff. When I met Mike I didn't even know what my credit card interest percentages were, huh? Then I started another class, I am in week 7 of it...can't wait for a break! I get 3 weeks off for Christmas and then 3 more class and then I am DONE. Never going to back to school again! Unless its to avoid paying back all of my student loans, then I will think about it.
And Mike and I have begun the house hunt, we are so almost grown ups. If we find a house that WE love then we can use all of our wedding booty which is currently in storage. I will go visit the Kitchen-aid mixer soon though, you know for the holidays, just to say hey. I say WE because there have been a least 3 houses that I love and Mike is like, eh. He has gone through this process before when he bought our condo 6 years ago, I however have never purchased anything larger then a TV and only recently finished paying off my car. I have also lived in roughly 15 different places if you count changing dorms and houses in college, which I do. So I look at basic stuff while Mike is concerned about foundation and water heaters...
As of today, Mike and I have been married for 110 days, hot damn. Whats fun is Kim Kardashian got married on the same day (I had it first by the way) and she is divorced while my husband had to wait on me after surgery. Not to say he loved it, there was a few reminders of that "in sickness and in health" vow he took. Mike and I have been together 5 years so we are pretty used to each other at this point, he does still do some random boy stuff though...like I asked him to get stamps for Christmas cards, he came back with 1 book. Umm..that barely covers the cards for his family. He did helpfully suggest that I could use regular stamps, the ones with the stupid bell on them. Ummm..., we aren't the Clampets. I want stamps with Christmas-y stuff on them not a big metal bell. WTF.
Oh another thing...a lot of the shows I watch (have to DVR them because they are all on at like 10pm, ha!) are ending and amazing writing! Walking Dead-OMG, last minute! Boardwalk Empire-DUDE, this weeks episode was difficult to watch...ew.
Taking a trip with some ladies this weekend, can't wait for a whole weekend of girl-ness!
